 Women's

Women's Ministry

The women’s ministry provides avenues for service, friendships, and outreach for the women of the church. This is accomplished through:
  •  Providing and assembling “Welcome Bags” for distribution at the Mustin Women’s Shelter.
  •  By volunteering at Operation Love and at the Pregnancy Care Center.
  •  Planting flowers around the church building.
  • Assembling and mailing care boxes to our college students.
  • Hosting a Ladies Spring Luncheon for fellowship and outreach.
  • Having a Christmas party.
  • Going on shopping and sight seeing trips. These are just some of the ways in which the women are active in the church and in the community.

 Youth

 Youth Ministry

Our present ministry to our youth is in a rebuilding phase.  Chris Pannell is our summer youth minister.  Other adults from the congregation are being recruited to assist them with the youth group meetings and activities on Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The time is spent playing group games, hanging out, and studying the Word.   Our Junior and Senior High students enjoy being together and would welcome any new kids to the group.  Although we don’t have a youth minister, we believe we can be a successful youth group which is growing in the ways of Christ.  We also believe we can develop leadership skills from serving and playing together.  The goal of our youth ministry is spiritual growth for ourselves and our friends.

Activities are currently being planned for the summer. One main item for the summer is to attend our church camp, which is located at Converse, IN.  More info can be found at rainbowcamp.org

 Men's

Men's Ministry

“Go Fish” is the monthly theme for our 8:00AM Men’s Breakfast which meets at the church building the first Saturday morning of each month. During the summer months a different schedule will be followed. In May we will be joined by the Women’s ministry for breakfast as well as a morning of working together inside and outside our building. In June we will meet at McDonalds and do yard work for seniors in the congregation. July will find us golfing at a local golf course on a Sunday afternoon and August looks to be an opportunity to serve in our community.

If you will join us it will give you a great opportunity to fellowship, laugh and grow together with other men. “Go Fish” will help you be a “Fisher of Men” in the challenging, churning and murky waters of our culture.

 Children's

Children's Ministry

Children are our future. They are not only the future leaders of the church, but the future leaders of our nation. We want children to enjoy church and feel loved and needed while at church but, most importantly, we want them to learn to love Christ and have a personal relationship with Him. Here at New Hope we desire excellence in all we do. We not only want to minister to your children, we want to minister to you. Raising children is a tough job. We hope our Children’s Ministries encourage you and your children in your walk with Christ.

MISSIONS

Matthew 28:19-20 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Reaching the lost for Christ is not a secondary function of the church; it is its primary function. That is why we set aside 10% of our annual budget each year for missions. We support the following ministries because we understand we can’t go everywhere but others can and they need our support.
